Terms of Service
Last updated: 5 October 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Nido, the shared-home app and AI connector available at getnido.dev and mcp.getnido.dev (the “Service”).
By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who we are
The Service is operated by Leo Rey, an individual established in Spain (“Nido”, “we”, “us”). You can contact us at [email protected].
2. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) and legally able to enter into these Terms.
You sign in with your Google account. You are responsible for keeping access to that account secure and for all activity under your Nido account, including the invitations and AI tokens you create.
You agree to provide accurate information and to use the Service only as permitted here.
3. The Service
Nido lets people share household lists and, through an API and an MCP connector, lets AI assistants read and write that data when you authorize them.
Plans and limits. The Service offers Free, Plus and Pro plans with different limits on households, members, AI agents and daily MCP calls. We may change plans, limits and features; we will not remove the core free functionality without notice.
The Service is in active development (MVP). Features may change and some functionality is experimental.
4. Households, invitations and shared content
When you create a household you are its owner; owners can invite people and AI agents, manage the household, and delete it. Members can see and edit the household's shared content.
Content you add to a household is visible to every member of that household and to any AI assistant that has been granted access. Do not add content you are not willing to share with those people and agents.
You are responsible for the invitations and tokens you create and for who you let into your household.
5. AI assistants and third-party services
You may connect third-party AI assistants to Nido. When you do, you authorize them to access the data and scopes you select. These assistants are independent third parties; we do not control them and are not responsible for their acts, output or handling of your data. Their terms and privacy policies apply to them.
You can revoke access at any time by deleting the relevant token or grant in the app.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for anything unlawful, harmful or fraudulent.
- Attempt to break, overload, scrape or bypass the Service's limits, security or authentication.
- Upload malware or content that infringes the rights of others.
- Use the Service to harass others or to share another person's data without their consent.
- Resell the Service or provide it to third parties as your own without our written permission.
7. Your content and the licence you give us
You keep ownership of the content you add. To operate the Service, you grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, transmit, display and process that content solely to provide and improve the Service and as described in our Privacy Policy. This licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies in backups that are rotated out.
8. Our intellectual property
The Service, the Nido name and logo, and the software behind them are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. These Terms give you no right to use them except to use the Service as intended.
9. Payments
The Service is currently free. If we introduce paid plans we will present the price and terms, and any payment will be subject to the payment provider's terms. Because this is a consumer service in the EU, you may have a statutory right of withdrawal for digital services; where it applies, we will explain it at the point of purchase.
10. Availability, changes and termination
We provide the Service on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features, and we may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service or other users.
You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account as described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. AI assistants can make mistakes; verify important information.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for the acts of third-party AI assistants and platforms. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including your mandatory rights as a consumer.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the law of Spain. Any dispute will be submitted to the courts of the operator's domicile, without prejudice to the mandatory rights you have as a consumer to bring proceedings in your place of residence and to the protections granted by the law of your country of residence within the EU.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. When we make material changes we will post the new version here, update the “Last updated” date above and, where required, notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
